The camera turns on to Holo Make doing sit-ups. His hair is tied-up in a ponytail. Behind him, we see sand and the glimpse of a couple trees, but the sand takes up the majority of the background.
Holo continues his sit-ups for a few more moments before speaking.
Holo Make: Aloha kākou, Chaotic Wrestling. O Holo Make koʻu inoa. Hello there, Chaotic Wrestling. My name is Holo Make.
His breathing picks up in between the words. The shine of sweat on his chest and arms only grows as he continues his cardio.
Holo Make: I returned to the vale of victory when I defeated Freddy Kilgore in my last appearance. But afterwards, I was absent from all the…”mania”. I recuperated from any negative thoughts brought upon myself, and since then, have not rested. You see, while others on this roster would revel in their victories and celebrate, I do not have the luxury.
The breathing picks up the longer he continues.
Holo Make: Where I come from, survival is not just a way of living or a recommendation. It’s a requirement. Survival is how you get through the day, how you wake-up the next morning. And for me? It’s how I keep coming back. It is with a hardened heart and stronger mind that I am able to see people like Larry and know, beyond any doubts, that I can conquer them. Larry isn’t a monster in human form. He isn’t an arrogant man hoping for an easy victory. He isn’t a large human mocking my culture. Larry is just like everybody else.
Holo pauses a few moments as the sweat begins to drip off his skin and hair. However it falls…up?
Holo Make: Any normal man like Larry would embrace victory before resuming their training. They would smile, laugh, celebrate. But for me, celebrations always end with one’s demise. I have been spending my time training. Nearly every moment of my time away has been spent doing exercises like this, and preparing my mind for the battles ahead. it is…what Kane wants. If I am to truly thank the Gods for gifting me with the power to succeed, than I must show them the respect they deserve. And when the time comes for battle, I will be ten times more willing and a hundred times more able of defeating anybody placed in my path. Any respect I might have for Larry as a man does not exist when the bell has rung. The instant the echoing gongs disappear, Larry is nothing more than the enemy I must go through. And…yes…that is precisely what I will do.
Holo starts to pick up the pace of his sit-ups, even as his breathing starts to become ragged and his sweat continues to drip off him, falling upwards off his body.
Holo Make: I am not strong because of the Gods. I am strong because I do not quit. I am strong because I continue to build myself to become better. I am stronger because of the power Ku gives to me. Because of the will Pele flows through me. Because of the wisdom Hina grants me. A man like Larry may believe whatever he pleases, but this fact allows me to embrace the uncontrolled nature of the battlegrounds we wage war on. I call this Chaotic Wrestling, not because of any slight or any mistakes. I name this place as such because anything can happen at anytime. And nobody is safe from the unbridled chaos that this realm can unleash.
Holo suddenly stops. He swings down, himself now falling up off camera.
The camera rotates around and backs up, revealing Holo now crouched down in the sand. Behind him, we can see the beginnings of the island’s forest while above we spot a heavy branch from one of the trees. He look back up into the camera.
Holo Make: Except for me. Kane keeps me safe, and gives me the courage and capacity to control myself coalescing through this chaos. And for a man like Larry who is…just human…the chaos will not be his undoing.
Holo stands up, the camera following him.
Holo Make: I will be.
He starts to jog in place for a few moments.
Holo Make: E hiki mai kou hopena. Until I ride again…
He turns around and begins to sprint away from the camera. Once he has turned the corner far away, the feed fades to black.
