The Lonely Ride of the Pale Rider

Holo Make is seen standing in front of a decrepit building. The walls are torn and moldy and the windows are smashed to pieces. The only illumination we can see is the street light above his head. The camera gets a good shot of Holo’s exposed tattoo, his chest open to the air.

He pushes his hair out of his face.

Holo Make: Aloha kākou, Chaotic Wrestling. O Holo Make koʻu inoa.

Holo pauses a few moments to glance behind him at the old, torn apat building.

Holo Make: Hello there, Chaotic Wrestling. My name is Holo Make. I proved against a man like Ricky Broadway that the power of Kane in my hands is unstoppable. I have proven to the world and to Chaotic Wresting that yes, Holo Make is not a joke. Holo Make is not something to ridicule. A man like Dewey Smarts should use his name and think about what he’s getting into. Because at In Your Haunted House, Dewey is facing off against a man who holds the power of the Gods in his hands.

Holo takes a second to let his deep breathing fill the void.

Holo Make: But this week is different. You see, normally I would embrace the gifts given by the likes of Kane and Kanaloa…but this week…Holo Make goes in alone. This isn’t a punishment. It isn’t a weakness. It is a test of strength, and I have proven against a multitude of men that Holo Make…is stronger than this roster! Holo Make is stronger than anybody who is in his path! Holo Make is stronger than a man like Dewey Smarts! Because this haunted house we’re competing in, it might just be a metaphor, but no, the moment you step into the ring with The Pale Rider, you are sealing your fate! You are not walking out the same man walking in, let alone walking out at all!

Holo pushes his hands through his hair, continuing to breathe deeply.

Holo Make: I walk with the Gods because I am deserving of their respect.  A man like Dewey might be a proud native, and I can respect a man who respects his nation and culture, but two losses with zero wins speak louder than my words ever could. And if he thinks even slightly that he has a chance of unseating my domination, than his last name is nothing but a falsehood.

Holo nods his head, turning around. He stops before leaving the light of the lamppost. He looks over his shoulder at the camera.

Holo Make: I am entering this haunted house knowing that I am going to walk out stronger than I was. If a man like Dewey can walk out on his own accord, he will have my respects. But…Kane does not like to see the souls I deliver him still moving.

He lets the words sit for a moment before looking back at the decrepit house.

Holo Make: It’s sealed. E hiki mai kou hopena. Until I ride again…

He walks forward, opening the creaking door of the house. The door closes with a loud slam just as the camera cuts off.
