Backstage we go to “Big” Joe Geoue who is standing by with Harry Chest and Tanner Spray. Tanner constantly wrings his hands together as Harry stands stoically.
Joe Geoue: Welcome backstage folks, I’m here with the Hairiest one of the West, Harry Chest and his young protege, Tanner Spray. Harry, you’ve requested this time so what’s on your mind.
With the microphone pointed towards his heroic lips, Harry takes a second to look down at his fleet footed sidekick and back again.
Harry Chest: Tanner, “Big” Joe, I certainly did ask for this time and thank you for it. I wanted to make a declaration to Classic Wrestling that this year will be the year of the hero. I have one valuable win under my belt already and I don’t intend to be stopped anytime soon. We’re just getting started!
Tanner Spray bounces up to take the mic from Geoue’s hand.
Tanner Spray: Good golly gosh, Harry! You tell ‘em!
Joe takes back control of the microphone and continues the interview.
Harry Chest: I will never back down from evil. I will rise up and defend every last random citizen until my final breath! I feel like there is something special brewing here in Classic Wrestling…
Harry eyes his interviewer over a few times.
Harry Chest: My, what pectorals you have there “Big” Joe Geoue! You didn’t happen to be a wrestler in a past life?
Joe nods but isn’t sure where Harry is going with it.
Harry Chest: Well tickle me with felt underpants! Don’t you see!? It’s people like you that Classic Wrestling depends on!
Joe appreciates the sentiments.
Harry Chest: You see, Joe, I’m not just here to eat catering and kiss babies! No! I am here to find the common underdogs, like yourself, and raise us all up to another level! And you know what? It starts TONIGHT! Off we go, Tanner!
Without giving Joe an opportunity to reply, Harry and Tanner dart off like they have somewhere important to go.
