Our television screens open to the Classic Wrestling Studios at RBTV in Cleveland, Ohio for one final time. The bright lights are on and the fans are raucous. The crane camera zooms across the many faces filling up the fan section of the bleachers. Cheering, screaming, and emulating their favorite Classic Wrestling superstars, based on their mood you couldn’t tell anything was coming to an end.
Ozzy Osborne’s “Flying High Again” bursts from each loudspeaker in the studio. As we move back and see the ring for the first time, a very large Classic Wrestling Graphic comes across our television sets. Stepping through the ropes is the host with the most, Otto Price. He shakes the hand of referee Chip Newman before accepting the microphone from Ring Announcer Harold Robbins. The music comes to a stop as Otto brings the mic up.
Price: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to another edition of CLASSIC WRESTLING on RBTV! I’m your host Otto Price, and I couldn’t be more excited to be here this evening! Now I know for most of you, today is a very sad day… The very last Classic Wrestling episode on RBTV…
The fans interrupt with boos and audible sadness.
Price: I know! I know! I cannot believe it either, but we’ve had an amazing year here at Classic Wrestling and I say, let’s not go out on a low note, but rather… a very exciting one! We’ve got a HUGE show for you tonight featuring more matches than we’ve ever been able to squeeze into one program! We’ve been given the green light by RBTV to extend the show this evening to make sure you get a chance to see all your favorite Classic Wrestlers in action fans!
Cheers and excitement abound!
Price: Let’s not waste anymore time! Our first matchup is coming up next!
