Coming back from the break, Ricky Broadway awaits his opponent in the ring after gracing the audience with another of his, well, curious serenades.
Robbins: The following is your opening contest of the evening. Introducing first, from New York City, weighing in at 215 pounds…Ricky Broadway!
The crowd jeers Ricky, who pays them no mind as he keeps his eyes peeled on the entrance.
Robbins: And his opponent…
The eardrum-splitting opening riff to Stranglehold gets the fans in attendance up out of their seats. A moment passes before a loud, gravely voice can be heard a hundred yards in every direction even over The Nooge’s seminal shred-fest.
“HOOOOOOOOOOO-AAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!”
King Kong Frank emerges with a 10-foot steel chain wrapped around his neck and a wild look in his eyes! He hoots and hollers and gets everyone whipped into a frenzy before breaking off into the crowd and swinging his chain at anybody not smart enough to be out of his way!
Robbins: Making his way to the ring from the Great Smoky Mountains, he weighs in tonight at 295 pounds…KING! KONG! FRAAAAANK!
The Madman from the Smoky Mountains smiles his big ugly smile underneath his big ugly beard and he terrorizes his way toward the ringside area. Fans scatter in his wake as he steps over the ringside guardrail and stalks up the steps and into the ring, this time stepping over the top rope and then parading around the ring, swinging that chain, daring anybody to stop him before making a beeline for the ring. The referee, realizing what’s about to happen, calls for the bell to start things off!
DING! DING! DING!
And not a moment too soon, as Frank immediately rushes an unsuspecting Broadway! Pummeling the singer with some hard lefts and rights, Frank then sends him to the corner with an Irish whip before charging at full force…but Broadway narrowly avoids danger!
Moss: Close call there for Ricky Broadway!
Howley: Looks like Frank wasn’t exactly fond of the tunes tonight, but if Ricky keeps this up the big man could be singing the blues!
Frank collides with the turnbuckle, his momentum sending him back a couple steps…which gives Ricky the opening he needs, as he connects with a neckbreaker that drives Frank head-first into the canvas! Ricky goes for the cover, looking for a quick victory tonight!

NO!
Frank kicks out, shoving Ricky away with authority! Ricky gets back to his feet quickly, as does Frank…who blindsides Ricky with a massive lariat, much to the crowd’s approval!
Moss: The crowd is really enjoying this, Thunderbird!
Howley: Yeah, they seem a little too eager for violence tonight! Might need to give Standards & Practices a call and make sure we’re not on thin ice here!
Frank stays on the attack with some boots to the midsection, but Ricky’s credit he is building back up to a vertical base, finally making it back to his feet as he dodges a right hand, hitting a dropkick that sends the big man to the corner!
Moss: Oh boy, this could be a turning point for Ricky Broadway!
Howley: Every song builds to a crescendo, Pat!
Ricky charges at full speed…but gets caught by the Appalachian Nightmare! With a smile on his face, Frank drops Broadway with a huuuuuge body slam! The crowd roars in approval as Frank arms his thumb, ready to connect with the Smoky Mountain Spike as Ricky slowly gets back to his feet…AND HE DOES!
Down goes Ricky, as Frank goes for the cover!

DING! DING! DING!
Robbins: Here is your winner…KING! KONG! FRANK!
The ref raises Frank’s arm in victory, the crowd showing their appreciation for the big man as Ricky rolls out of the ring to collect himself after the loss tonight.
Moss: What a match to start things off! Ricky tried to carry a tune tonight, but came up a bit flat against the Smoky Mountain Savage!
Howley: Rough night for Ricky Broadway, gonna need to rehearse that song and finesse it some more pal!
Moss: I’m being told that we have something for our fans now, a look behind the scenes at Classic Wrestling!
Frank takes a moment to continue the celebration, much to the crowd’s delight as we cut away from ringside!
